Research Armament Prototype 500 single shot .50 BMG rifle with single shot bolt mechanism common amongst early high accuracy precision rifles which require the case to be fitted directly on the massive 3 lug bolt with wing safety and knurled bolt handle. Freefloating 30" heavily fluted barrel with massive 2 chamber muzzle brake. Integral bipod with knurled legs. Billet receiver. Adjustable stock for comb and length of pull. Mounted Nightforce 5.5-22x56 SFP Varminter scope. CONDITION: Very good, with some marks throughout the gun from range use, some silvering, but nothing significant. Some flashing on molded lines. Exposed metal on stock has a few spots of old oxidation. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with strong rifling and some frosting in grooves. Glass is clear, knobs throw cleanly and smoothly. These guns, especially the single shot variations, are well known for accuracy. EW
