Manufactured by Simson & Co.. The chamber is stamped 1925 and it has "SIMPSON CO. / SUHL" on the front toggle link. Safety is marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position and the extractor is marked "GELADEN" on the left side. It has the correct eagle 6 Waffenampts on the right side of the receiver. This is an all matching numbers gun. The magazine is a Simson magazine but does not match the gun. It is number 305. Checkered wood two piece grips have the full serial number stamped on the inside of each grip. All parts have an eagle 6 proof. Unit marked on the front grip strap "Kdlr. H.8." It is a Reichswehr unit mark for Kommandantur Hannover weapon 8; Garrison Headquarters, Hannover. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 60% of the factory applied blue finish with some thinning to the barrel, grip straps and on the side plate. The small straw parts have 50% of the original straw. Nice checkered wood grips that show normal wear. There are no chips or cracks in the grips. Bright and shinny bore with sharp lands and grooves. REW
