There is much speculation on these Kl /1933 marked guns. Some say that they were concentration camp guards guns, and others say that they were reworked by a small gunsmiths company affiliated with the Simson Co. in Germany called "Klett". This is obviously a reworked gun and has the Crown RC proof mark on the right side of the receiver, left side of barrel and the rear toggle link. This is an all matching serial numbered gun, down to both magazines and holster. The holster in a commercial style holster with a pin punch, loading tool and a loop cleaning rod and is marked 11 on the rear of the holster. 2 matching tin magazines with wood bottoms, one is marked 11 and the other is marked 11 / +. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 92% of the arsenal applied blue finish and 85% of the arsenal straw color. Bright and shinny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Matching numbered checkered 2 piece grips are crisp with no chips or cracks in them. Both magazines are minty. Holster shows some crazing. The stitching is tight and serviceable. Tools are all in excellent condition. A very scarce and desirable Luger that would be a great addition to any collection. REW
