The nickel plated blade of this Luftwaffe Officers Dress Sword is maker marked for the firm of WKC. The blade remains in bright polish with only minimal runner marks. The aluminum cross guard and pommel exhibit a light patina build up in the recesses, and the gilding of the swastikas are bright. The leather wrapped grip is decorated with a multiwired cord, which has become slightly undone near the base. The leather wrapped scabbard exhibits only very light scattered marks and no major visible damage. The aluminum fittings exhibit only light scattered superficial marks, and the fitting screws appear untampered. The scabbard has its original leather hanger still originally attached to its two rings. CONDITION: Near Mint. D.W.
