Extremely rare Simson S-code luger. All the correct "(eagle) / 6" and "(eagle) / 33" proofs are present. The magazine and hold-open do not match but they are both "(eagle) / 6" proofed. The hold open is number 82 and the magazine is number 772. This gun is referenced on page 100 of the book "Simson Lugers" by Tinker and Johnson. Grips are numbered correctly without the suffix letter. CONDITION: This gun retains the vast majority of the factory-applied blue finish. The straw small parts are very strong. Good bore with just a bit of frosting in the lands and grooves. Grip panels have sharp and crisp checkering. REW
