Dutch Navy marked Mauser Banner 1939 Luger semi-automatic pistol with holster. Made 1939, as marked on the chamber. "MAUSER" banner marked in the toggle. This gun was sold to the Dutch Navy, as marked "K.M." on the front strap. "RUST" safety marking. "(crown) / U" proof on the left side of the chamber. No import mark found. Matching serials on the visible numbered parts. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and U-notch rear. Gun was likely arsenal refinished at some point. Original checkered wood grips with matching numbers. Includes a matching numbered aluminum bottom magazine. Also included is a Dutch holster with later police-style front strap. Brass plaque stamped "4" on the inside of the flap. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its arsenal re-applied finish with general wear. Straw rates at 85%. Grips have light wear to the checkering. There is a small repaired crack on the left panel, under the safety. Bore is lightly frosted with very strong rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has light finish wear. Holster is good overall with one of the rear belt straps being ripped off. Otherwise, has light wear and tight stitching. Tool pouch is intact. JWA
