Beautiful Diana Grade small bore gun made in 1974 made with low profile matted ventilated rib with twin brass beads. Round nosed forend checkered in point pattern with coin finished engraved release. Coin finished action is beautifully engraved, signed by R. Coenen on left side in Diana pattern with pheasants on left, quail (?) on bottom and ducks on right surrounded by floral scroll pattern. Made with gold plated single selective trigger, auto ejectors, and non-auto safety. Factory quality restock, likely brown Browning factory services shop, round knob long tang buttstock is of incredible fiddleback flame grained American Walnut and terminates with Browning composition buttplate. Housed in a dark brown leatherette two barrel take down case. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains nearly all factory original finish to metal surfaces and nearly all custom finishes to the stocks. Appears factory test fired only with only the most minute of handling marks. Case is excellent. Truly a beautiful gun with one of the most gorgeous stocks this writer has ever seen on a Superposed.
