Manufactured between 1908-1910 by DWM for contract sales to the Portuguese Army. With a contract for 5,000 guns this is a very early one with the serial number being 29. It has the entwined M2 "MANUAL II" crest over the chamber. The extractor is marked "CARREGADA" on the left side. It has the circle triangle proof on the bottom of the barrel, the left side of the receiver and on the back of the frame. All the parts match except the grips are number 80. CONDITION: Gun retains 70% of the original applied finish, with the remainder turning to a brown patina. Dark bore with frosting in the lands and grooves. Grips show wear and the left grip is chipped under the safety. Comes in the correct "A.E" marked holster with cleaning rod and pin punch. REW
