DWM double date with a unit mark. The unit mark on the front grip strap is "S.Bn.I.1838". This unit mark is for "BRESLAU". An example can be found on page 32 of the book "Police Lugers German Police Lugers and their markings 1918 - 1958". The "1920" over the chamber is a property mark and was used after the treaty of Versailles. This is an arsenal rebuild and has a Simpson proofed barrel. Sear safety is installed. The frame has been drilled for the magazine block but it has been removed. This is an all matching numbers gun, even the magazine. The magazine is a nickel tin magazine with an aluminum bottom. It has a '2' on the bottom also. CONDITION: Gun retains 90% of the arsenal refinish blue. Warn grips with no chips or cracks. Fair bore showing some wear. REW
