Japanese Papa Nambu semi automatic pistol. Made Tokyo Arsenal circa 1915. Original finish and checkered wood grips. Swiveling lanyard loop on the back of the frame. Standard round barrel with a blade front and sliding tangent rear. The left grip has a painted "451", possibly a rack number. Magazine release button is missing, spring is still present and has been replaced with a brass screwhead. Functionally the magazine still can be released. Original aluminum bottom magazine is not matching to the gun. No import mark. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its reapplied blue finish with a few areas of minor pitting under the blue. Grips are very good with minor wear to the checkering. Grips are currently loose, but replacement of the magazine release button will fix that. Frosted bore with poor rifling. Mechanically operable. Magazine is fair with a good amount of wear and scratches. EW
