1920 Commercial Luger manufactured after the conclusion of the Great War for commercial sales within and outside of Germany. Chamber is blank and toggle bears the "DWM" monogram. Partially legible "GERMANY" import stamp present on the left side of the frame. Commercial crown over "N" nitro proofs are present on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Matching numbers include the frame, locking block, sideplate, trigger, and barrel, which are stamped in the commercial fashion. Magazine bottom is marked "7.65" and appears to be force matched. Checkered walnut grips are unmarked. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting several small areas of wear. Strawed components show wear and some age-related discoloration. Mirror bore, with well-defined lands and grooves throughout. Checkered walnut grips show some smoothing to the checkering as well as a few areas of chips to the diamonds. A nice 1920 Commercial Luger. -MLW-
