Manufactured by DWM after the conclusion of the Great War for commercial sales within and outside of Germany. Chamber is blank, with the "DWM" monogram present on the toggle. Commercial crown over "N" nitro proof present on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger, sideplate, and barrel, which are numbered in the commercial fashion. Checkered walnut grips and magazine are unmarked. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their arsenal-applied rust blue finish, exhibiting a few minor areas of wear, as well as a small area of oxidation at the grip toe. Bore is bright, showing light oxidation and good rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show some smoothing with a few minor impressions and some nicks to the diamonds.
