1920 Commercial Luger manufactured by DWM after the Great War for commercial sales within and outside of Germany. Chamber is blank, with the "DWM" monogram on the toggle. Commercial crown over "N" nitro proof present on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger, sideplate, barrel, and rear toggle, which are stamped in the commercial fashion. Checkered walnut grips and magazine bottom are unmarked. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting few minor areas of wear as well as some nicks beneath the finish. Bright bore, with light oxidation and good rifling throughout. Checkered wood grips show some smoothing and some nicks to the diamonds. -MLW-
