The French assembled guns when they occupied the Mauser factory after World War II. Some of them were brought back by U.S. Soldiers. This is an all matching numbers gun to include the frame, trigger, take down lever, side plate, receiver, magazine, and both front and rear toggle links. The front toggle link has a 7 line Mauser banner. There is an Eagle N proof mark on the left side of the receiver and also on the left side of the breech block. It has the correctly numbered extruded magazine with aluminum bottom without any proof marks. CONDITION: This gun looks like it just left the factory. Gun retains 98% of the factory applied blue finish. Wood grips have sharp and crisp checkering. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. REW
