Made by Guide Lamp Corporation a Division of General Motors in 1942 and known as the "Liberator". Pot metal stamped single shot pistol designed to be used once or twice until more useable weapon could be obtained. Gray metal frame riveted together with steel triggerguard. Comes with glass top wooden case with cut out for "Liberator" and two other items possibly pertaining to resistance efforts. CONDITION: Gun has been covered with black paint long ago and is now flaking off. Mechanics are good with case in good condition except latch is broken. DLM
