(A) Manufactured 1894. Marlin Model 1893 with shortened magazine and barrel. Chambered for 38-55. Walnut stocks with blade front sight and crescent butt. No markings on tang with serial number at belly of frame. CONDITION. Fair with finish being a chocolate patina and bore is very strong with light roughness. Action operates properly. Stock has a repaired crack at wrist. (B) Manufactured post 1906, Marlin 1893 with 26 inch octagon barrel rechambered from 25-35 to 30WCF (30-30)Blade front sight elevator adjustable rear sight with tang marked MARLIN MODEL 1893. Smooth walnut stocks with crescent butt plate. CONDITION. Good with exterior being a combination of patina and cold blue on barrel and magazine. Case colored frame has silvered. Wood stocks have been lightly sanded and refinished. Bore is very fine. Action operates properly. tdw
