Lot consists of: (A) Mauser production P.38 semi automatic pistol. Made in 1943. Slide, frame and barrel lug are matching. Un-numberd "cyq" armorers barrel. Eagle over "135" Waffenamt on the frame and slide. Slide and barrel have been refinished at some point. Plastic "Bakelite" grips. Magazine is marked P.38 on the bottom with an eagle over "135" Waffenamt on the back rib. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its finish with mild wear and handling marks. Grips are very good with minor wear. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. Magazine is very good with light wear. (B) Scarce Walther P.38 in .30 Luger with matching box and accouterments. Made 1973 with commercial German proofs and imported by Interarms. Slide marked "WALTHER" in a ribbon banner over "Made in W. Germany" on the left side of the slide. Ride side of the slide is marked "INTERARMS/ALEXANDRIA VIRGINIA" over their crest. Matching numbers. Alloy frame with a steel slide and barrel. Blued finish with black plastic grips. Includes two magazines marked "P38/cal 7.65mm Para" on the bottom, original cardboard box, cleaning spoon, test target and warranty card. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few scattered handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. Most likely un-fired from the factory. Magazines are excellent. Papers and box are very good with light wear. JWA
