(A) Winchester 1885 Low-Wall Single Shot Rifle with 25-inch, #1 standard weight tapered full-octagon barrel, buckhorn rear sight.Chambered in .25-20 S.S. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm with ebony fore-end tip and rifle style buttplate CONDITION: Fine with metal turning a blue/brown patina overall. Stock is fine with a coat of finish added showing moderate wear with dents and gouges, stress-crack in the right wrist near the action and a chip in stock near the tang. Action works correctly. Bore is dark with good rifling. (B) Winchester 1885 High-Wall Single Shot Rifle with 28-inch, #1 standard weight tapered full-octagon barrel, Lyman tang sight, Beech's combination front sight. Chambered in .38-40 W.C.F. Plain straight-grain walnut stock and forearm with ebony fore-end tip and rifle style buttplate. CONDITION: Good to Very Good with metal components faded to a dove-gray patina overall. Stock is fine and has been lightly sanded. Action works correctly. Bore is dark with weak rifling. -TN-
