(A) Marlin Model 1893 Lever-Action Carbine with 20" round barrel, carbine front and rear sight, full length magazine tube, and chambered in .38-55 Winchester. Barrel is marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" underneath patent date on left of barrel. Two piece, walnut stock and forearm with rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good as completely refinished. Metal parts have faded to a splotchy, mottled, dark gray patina with traces of darker blue peeking through. Handling and storage marks throughout, with heavy pitting on barrel band. Forearm is a contemporary replacement. Stock is very good with only minor dents and dings throughout but is strong. Action works correctly. Bore is bright and very good with sharp rifling with some slight darkness in the grooves. (B) Marlin 1893 Lever-Action Rifle with 26" octagon barrel, full length magazine tube, Marble front and tang sight, and chambered in .25-36 Marlin. Barrel is marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" on top-left barrel flat. Two piece, wooden stock and forearm with rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good to very good with metal parts faded to a mottled dove-gray patina with handling and storage marks throughout. Forearm is very good with cracks at left and right near forearm cap and dents and gouges overall. Stock is aftermarket, but is good with dents, dings and gouges throughout and cracks at left of top and bottom tang, repaired crack at right of bottom tang, and slight crack at right near receiver. Action works correctly but is rough. Bore is frosted but has crisp rifling. -TN-
