(A) Marlin Model 1893 Lever-Action Rifle with 26" full-octagon barrel with full length magazine tube, buckhorn rear sight, and Steven's Tip Up front sight with brass spacer. Chambered in .30-30 Winchester. Barrel is marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" on top-left barrel flat. Plain, wooden stock and forearm with rifle buttplate and "white-metal" forearm cap. CONDITION: Very good with barrel retaining almost all of its original blued finish with wear on the high edges and scattered handling marks. Magazine tube and receiver assembly have faded to a mottled dull-gray patina. Bottom tang has been brazed as some sort of repair. Stock and forearm are very good and have been lightly sanded. Dents, dings, and gouges throughout with repaired crack on left side of wrist near bottom tang. Action works correctly and locks tightly. Bore is frosted with crisp rifling. (B) Marlin Model 1895 Lever-Action Rifle with 26" full-octagon barrel with full length magazine tube, buckhorn rear sight and blade front sight. Chambered in .38-56 WCF. Barrel is marked "SPECIAL SMOKELESS STEEL" on top-left barrel flat. Plain, wooden stock and forearm with rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with metal components faded to a mottled, dark grey patina overall. Stock and forearm are very good as lightly sanded and refinished with scattered dents and gouges from use. Action works correctly but rubs slightly on hammer giving it a "clunky" feel. Bore is dark with visible rifling. -TN-
