Lot consists of a 2A1, No. 4 MK I/2, and No. 4 MK I British bolt action rifles. (A) Model 2A1 manufactured in 1967 by Rifle Factory Ishapore. Right side of the barrel is import stamped "N.A. RDGFLD NJ." Matching numbers include the receiver and the rear sight. The right side of the receiver is marked "RIFLE/ 7.62mm 2A1/ R.F.I./ 1967". Metal components have been refinished and the stock has been lightly sanded and revarnished. Complete with cleaning rope (Oiler not present). CONDITION: Metal components retain most of their reapplied finish, showing nicks and areas of wear all around. Bright mirror bore with strong rifling throughout. Stock has been sanded and retains the majority of it's reapplied varnish. Upper hand guard has two repairs behind the rear sight. (B) No. 4 MK I/2 manufactured by Fazarkeley. Receiver is marked "No4 MK 1/2 MB29238/ F56FTR" in electropencil. Matching numbers include the receiver, bolt, stock, and magazine. Complete with a canvas sling and a spike bayonet with scabbard. CONDITION: Metal components retain most of their reapplied finish, nicks and areas of wear all around. Bore is bright and retains strong rifling throughout. Stock is good showing scattered handling marks. (C) No. 4 MK I* manufactured by Savage. Left side of the receiver is marked "U.S. PROPERTY/ (Ordnance bomb) S No 4 Mk I*". No matching numbers. CONDITION: Metal components retain small traces of original finish with the majority of the rifle turning a grey patina. Bore is dark, but retains good rifling throughout. Stock shows some scattered indentations and marks from handling. MLW
