(A) Eddystone Model 1917 Enfield rifle chambered for 30-06 with Pattern 1917 Remington bayonet with leather lithgow scabbard. Walnut stocks with ESAA inspectors cartouche on left side for WW2 reissue and the "P" inside of square box inspection at wrist. Parkerized finish with "JA"- "P" proofed barrel. "W" Marked butt stock Fitted with good pattern 1905 WW2 steel buckle sling. CONDITION. Very fine as reissued with period replacement barrel with excellent bore. Wood is good with typical small bruises. Action operates properly. Bayonet is very good and leather scabbard well preserved. (B) Springfield Model 1898 Krag Rifle with 899 dated Krag bayonet in scabbard and fitted with 2 piece pattern 1905 rifle sling with brass buckles. Cal, 30-40 Krag and stock is cartouched JRA 1901. CONDITION. Metal has turned patina/gun metal grey with wood being lightly period bruises and lightly cleaned. All markings legible. Action operates properly. Sling is supple. Bayonet good and scabbard being worn white. Bore is fair with strong rifling and darkness in grooves. tdw
