(A) Manufactured 1880. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle chambered for the 45-70 Gov't cartridge. Walnut stock is cartouched SWP 1891. Buffington sight. Low arch breech block, 3 position tumbler, 2 piece trigger guard and solid buttplate with out trap. CONDITION. Very good as refinished expertly with excellent blue and case colors and wood has additional finish on exterior. Bore is very good and action operates properly. (B) Manufactured 1891. Springfield Model 1888 rifle with Ramrod bayonet. Chambered for 45-70 Gov't. Buffington Sight with one piece trigger guard , trap butt plate , 3 position tumbler and low arch breech block. Stock is cartouched SWP 1890. CONDITION. Fiar with semi dark bore. Missing Rod Bayonet, action operates properly. exterior is weathered with a brown patina and action operates properly. tdw
