Bead front sight on ramp of a deeply fluted octagonal barrel, with fluting ending towards breech, with top flat signed "GG. Daurer vorm Penker Rosenheim", with offset florals inlaid in silver. Underside of barrel is stamped with German and Austrian proofs, "129/43", script K, and LB. Martini style action engraved with Germanic florals and vines, left side depicting a moustachioed hunter, right side with another hunter drinking out of a mug. Carved wood stocks with German florals and classic large Schutzen cheeck rest. Rear sight assembly is missing the orthoptic rear sight. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains the majority of bluing with some silvering to high edges and flaking to brown. Some silver lifting at the breech. Receiver is essentially dove grey, with crisp engraving. Wood is very good and appears to have been carefully and professionally refreshed. One chip missing at right side forearm, with a crack running through forearm on right side. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with sharp rifling and some frosting throughout. Sling loop on bottom of barrel is broken. EW
