Lot consists of: (A) Colt New Service double/single action revolver. Made 1917 and then exported to Britain for wartime use. Standard British proofs on the the frame and cylinder. Cylinders were reamed out to .45 Long Colt. Barrel is an aftermarket, unmarked replacement with a large blade front sight. Military blued finish on the frame and cylinder, with a polished blued finish on the barrel. Grips are original Colt, black hard plastic. Cylinder number and yolk number do not match. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its arsenal refinish with mild wear and handling marks. Grips are good overall with wear and a few minor chips and scratches. Crisp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. Some light wobble in the cylinder, hammer is tight. (B) FN/Swedish 1903 semi-automatic pistol. Early FN production made for the Swedish before 1914, when production in Belgium was halted due to World War I. Standard Belgian proofs on the slide and frame. Re-chambered to .380 ACP when imported into the United States. This example is unit marked "A 5 No. 263" on the left side of the frame. Front sight has been shortened. Original blued finish and plastic FN marked grips. Magazine is original. No import mark minus the the new caliber marking on the frame. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with minor wear and handling marks. Grips are very good with minor handling marks and scratches. Bore is lightly frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine is very good with light wear. JWA
