Lot consists of: (A) Made by J. Bandle in Cincinnati, Ohio around 1865. Bandle made percussion guns, air rifles and obscure parlor rifles. This example has a back action lock with modified hammer controlling a rod to hit a percussion cap at seven inches from the end of the barrel. This parlor gun has an octagon barrel with rifle sights. Walnut wood stock with brass buttplate and steel trigger guard. A neat piece of Americana. CONDITION: Overall brown patina with age cracks and wear. Good mechanics. (B) Made circa 1870 French Chassepot single shot bolt action rifle with round blued barrel with saber bayonet attachment. Matching bolt and action. Wood full military stock. CONDITION: Overall fair with dark oil soaked stock with hole drilled in center of stock (possibly for display mounting). Missing ramrod. Shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
