Winchester Model 1895 Theodore Roosevelt Safari Centennial High Grade lever action rifle with box. Tang safety model. Made 2009 in Japan by Miroku and imported/distributed by Browning Arms. Left side of barrel marked "Model 1895 Theodore Roosevelt High Grade - Caliber .405 Win ONLY" . Round steel barrel with a blade font sight and rear leaf. Stainless steel frame with nice engraving showing many African animals, and images of Teddy Roosevelt. The top of the bolt is marked "TR". Oil finished wood stock with checkering on the forearm and wrist. Plastic commemorative disk marked "1909-2009" on the right side of the stock. Blued finish metal butt plate. Includes factory box with lock and papers/manual. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish. Stock is excellent with a few minor handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically excellent. Most likely unfired from factory. Box is excellent. JWA
