Lot consists of: (A) Winchester Model 1894 Buffalo Bill Commemorative lever action rifle. Made 1968 to commemorate Buffalo Bill Cody. "BUFFALO BILL COMMEMORATIVE" written in script on the right side of the barrel and "W.F.Cody Chief Of Scouts" written on the tang. Buffalo bill commemorative coin attached to the right side of the stock. Octagon barrel with a blade front sight and leaf rear. Blued finish on the metal parts. Oil finished wood stocks with a silver plated buttplate. Sling swivels have been added to the stock and barrel. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few scattered handling marks. Stocks are excellent with minor handling marks. Crisp bore. Mechanically excellent. Looks to be un-fired from the factory. (B) Winchester 1894 Canadian Centennial '67 lever action rifle with box. Made 1967 to celebrate 100 years of Canadian Independence 1867-1967. "Canadian Centennial 1867-1967" written in script on the left side of the barrel, and "CANADIAN CENTENNIAL '67" engraved on the tang. Frame is decorated with engraved maple leafs, representing the Canadian provinces. Octagon steel barrel with a blade front sight and rear leaf. Blued finish on the metal parts. Oil finished wood stocks with a metal butt plate. Includes original box and warranty tag. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its finish with some light wear and handling marks. Wood is excellent with a few handling marks. Bore is clean with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Box is very good with light wear. JWA
