German made combination gun set made by Johanne Jacob Reeb in Bonn, Germany. Gun comes with Damascus steel set of shotgun barrels marked "Joh. Jac. Reeb Hofruchsenmacher-Bonn" with matted rib, German silver ringed breeches, and bead front sight. Second set of barrels is a fluid steel combination side by side rifle shotgun marked "Andr Aug Axl in Bonn a/Rh" with matted rib, German silver ringed breeches and rear flip up rifle sight and front blade rifle sight. Game scene engraved case hardened hammer action with double triggers front being a set trigger. Horn trigger guard, grip cap, and horn buttplate with fancy game scene carving. Walnut checkered stock with cheekpiece and sling swivels. Walnut checkered splinter forearm with horn tip inlay and latch release. Comes with felt lined fitted wooden case and 5 12 gauge brass shot shells. CONDITION: Barrels have small marks and dings with finish worn in carry areas to silver. Dent in right barrel of shotgun barrels. Bores are pitted in shotgun set with rifle/shotgun set having shootable bores. Action is worn silver and is missing one hammer screw. Wood has heavy usage marks and dings with traces of original finish. Good mechanics with opening lever slightly to the left.DLM
