Lot consists of: (A) French made cannon barrel animal trap. Board mounting with frame marked "Depose". Cast iron with fold out cannon shaped smoothbore barrel. Takes a twelve gauge shotgun shell. Comes with rope connected to a brass trigger mechanism. Interesting piece of trapping equipment. CONDITION: Aged patina with good mechanics. Nice honest piece. (B) Sash or belt mounted percussion gun made back in the Victorian age. Steel plate with 2 holes for fastening to belt or sash with a small .50 caliber barrel ignited by a percussion cap struck with a lock mechanism mounted on the plate. No markings, interesting piece for the gambler collector or collector of curiosa. CONDITION: Overall good with aged patina and good mechanics. DLM
