1936 vintage Model 71 Deluxe. Second year of production, only 4 Model 71s were built first year of 1935. Deluxe grade with checkered, walnut stock and forearm. Pistol grip with hard rubber Winchester cap. Checkered steel shotgun style buttplate. Typical pre-War long tang with bolt mounted peep sight. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 95% original blue remaining. The loading gate and retainer are polished bright. Wood shows moderate wear. Action is sharp and crisp. Bore is bright and clean. -MKS-
