Pattern 1853 British Enfield percussion rifled musket. Rear adjustable sight with blade front. Illegible marked percussion lock. Wood stock with "1862 London Armoury" stamped in buttstock. Brass trigger guard, buttplate and nosecap. With 3 iron barrel bands. Comes with original ramrod. Gun imported for both sides of the Civil War. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned with deep pitting remaining on steel parts. Wood has usage marks and dings with crack through rear lock bolt. Dark bore with good mechanics. DLM
