1912 vintage Winchester Model 1892 lever action saddle ring carbine serial number 645948. 20" round barrel chambered in .25-20 WCF with full length magazine tube, Lyman tang sight, express folding leaf rear sight, and pinned front sight. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with saddle ring and carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent with almost all of the original bluing remaining on barrel and magazine tube with the exception of storage and handling marks. Receiver assembly retains original blue but has high edge wear and light freckling throughout from storage and use. Stock and forearm are excellent and original with modest wear and light handling marks. Action works correctly and locks tightly but has some grease in it causing some roughness. Bore is excellent, bright and shiny with sharp lands and grooves. -TN-
