Martially marked Civil War era Colt Model 1860 Army single action revolver. 8" octagon barrel. Chambered in .44 percussion. Blue with case hardened frame, lever, and hammer. 1-piece walnut grips, with inspectors cartouche on both sides. Subinspector stamps in proper places. Matching serial number 57096 on barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder. CONDITION: Excellent with an overall pleasing brown patina. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is turning dark. Grips are excellent showing modest wear. -MKS-
