Used by both sides in the American Civil War, this Pattern 1853 Enfield features a dated 1862 Tower marked percussion lock and three barrel bands. Rifle sights with rear adjustable. Wood full military stock with iron and brass hardware. Comes with muzzle plug, nipple protection on chain and original steel ramrod. CONDITION: Rifle has typical age and usage marks with crack behind lock. Metal turning a brown patina. Wood has been cleaned. Shootable bore with good mechanics. DLM
