Lot consists of a Finnish M39 & Finnish M24 bolt action rifles. (A) M39 manufactured in 1941 by VKT. Century Arms import stamp on right side of barrel. Barrel is marked with the Finnish property "SA" stamp over the Finnish VKT logo and "D/ 40915/ 1941". Matching numbers include the hex receiver, barrel, bolt, and floorplate. Floorplate has been renumbered to match. Complete with cleaning rod and reproduction canvas web sling. CONDITION: Metal components retain fair amounts of their arsenal applied blue finish, with the majority of the wear showing on the receiver and magazine housing. Bright bore with good rifling throughout. Stock has been refinished and shows some dings handling marks as well as a small repair on the pistol grip. (B) Finnish Civil Guard M24 rifle with former Russian manufacturer markings scrubbed off. Century Arms import stamp on bottom of barrel. Bolt is force matched to the barrel. Finnish Civil Guard "S" is present on the top of the barrel with early Civil Guard acceptance proofs on the right. Receiver retains faint Imperial Russian eagle stamp over the chamber. Finnish sight graduations on right side of rear sight base with original Russian markings on the left. Improved barrel is stepped 3" from the muzzle. CONDITION: Metal components retain most of their arsenal applied blue finish, showing areas of high edge wear, showing through to silvering and some light patina showing through bluing in some areas. Bright bore, showing light frosting, but retains good rifling throughout. Stock shows dings and handling marks all around, as well as a repair on the left side of the forend. MLW
