Manufactured 1982 as per date code on left side of magazine well. German Nitro proof and Ulm proof alonside model number, caliber, and serial number as well. Bolt head and bolt carrier dated coded IB for 1981. Four position diopter drum rear siught with open V notch at position one. Protected post front sight. Thread on muzzle brake. Slot on forearm for bipod. Port buffer. Currently mounted with an OD green woven cloth sling. Accompanied by a Browning Travel Vault case with accessories comprising six 20 round magazines, one five round magazine, A.R.M.S, scope mount, HK collapsible buttstock assembly, HK bipod, HK magazine coupler for .308, and slim forearm. Magazines are a mixture of date codes and date marked for 1961, 1981, 1986, 1987, and 1978; five round magazine unmarked. CONDITION: Fine, showing some marks scattered about the gun from gentle use and some silver to high edges. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent, bright and shiny, with sharp rifling. Magazines vary from fine with some minor marks from use to fair with scattered oxidation and extensive evidence of use. Other accessories are fine. A nice lot for the HK enthusiast. EW
