Lot consists of: (A) Jonathan Browning Mountain percussion rifle with box. Made 1970's by a small contractor for Browning Arms company. Octagon, rifled steel barrel with blade front sight and U-notch rear. Phosphate-like finish on the metal components. Hardwood stock with brass buttplate and trigger guard. Wood ramrod with brass ends. Includes factory box and shipping box. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with areas of light wear and handling marks. Stock is excellent with a few handling marks. Sharp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. Box is excellent. (B) Pedersoli Howdah double barrel percussion pistol with box. Made 2009 by Pedersoli in Italy. Round, smooth bore steel barrels with a bead front sight. Case hardened locks, trigger guard and butt. Wood frame with checkering on the wrist. Includes original box, black carry case, Cabelas marked leather holster and belt, 250 Winchester shotgun wads and various patches. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Wood is excellent with a few handling marks. Bores are clean. Mechanically fine. Hammers are tight. There is some light surface rust on the nipples. Box is very good with light wear. Case and accessories are excellent. JWA
