Made in Birmingham, England by Anson and Deeley this "D" Grade side by side double was made for and imported by Harrington and Richardson between 1882 and 1885 and has Damascus steel barrels with smooth concave rib marked "Harrington and Richardson, Worcester, Mass. U.S.A.". Case hardened border engraved boxlock action with extractors and double triggers. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with "H&R" marked buttplate. Checkered splinter forearm with ebony inlay and latch release forearm. Less than 4000 made. CONDITION: 50% Damascus pattern remaining with some light blemishes. Receiver worn silver. Wood has dark uncleaned finish with usage scratches and dings. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
