SKS carbine manufactured by Tula Arsenal in 1952. The right side of the receiver bares a "C.D.I. SWAN" import mark and is followed by "CCCP10799". Right side of buttstock and top of receiver cover bear Russian arsenal refurbishment stamps. Matching numbers include the receiver, receiver cover, bolt carrier, bolt, and magazine cover. Trigger guard, extractor, and buttstock are forced matched to the receiver. Metal components have been refinished in black and the stock has been revarnished. Complete with blade type bayonet and butt trap cleaning kit. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their arsenal reapplied black finish, showing some small areas of flaking and wear. Chrome lined bore is bright and retains strong rifling throughout. Russian stock stampings are soft aside from the reapplied serial number. Stock shows some scattered handling marks, a small repair on either side of the bayonet groove, and some loss to its arsenal reapplied varnish. MLW
