Smooth slope front sight, square notch rear sight. Left side of slide with "COLT MK IV / SERIES 80 // (Rampant Colt)". Right side with "COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL". Right side of frame with Colt address, serial number, and "W" on trigger guard. Left side of trigger guard with "R" and Colt VP proof. Serrated small parts. Pachmayr gripper wraparound grips, serrated arched mainspring housing. Accompanied by Colt maroon box with styrofoam insert that has manuals matching gun by serial number. CONDITION: Fine, retaining the vast majority of finish with a few minor marks scattered about the gun from handling and operation. Nice shadowing around stampings. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with strong rifling. Series 80 safety intact. Box is very rough and has taped to maintain structure. EW
