1949 vintage Model 61 Winchester slide action rifle serial number 113039. 24" Winchester .22 LR smoothbore with .265 diameter counterbore. Small bead front sight. Plain straight grain walnut pistol grip stock and 17 groove forearm. Checkered steel buttplate. Comes with a 1st edition copy of C.H. Key's book "THE WINCHESTER MODEL SIXTY ONE". CONDITION: Excellent plus with 97-98% bright original blue. Wood is excellent plus, showing little wear. Bore is bright, action is tight and crisp. Would be difficult to improve on. -MKS-
