Manufactured in 1923. Colt single line address on top of the barrel. Colt Frontier Six Shooter .44-40 on the left side of the barrel. Patent dates and Rampant Colt on left side of frame. The numbers all match on the frame, inside the grip strap and on the inside of the trigger guard. The full serial number has been scratched into the inside of both grips. The last two digits are on the rear of the cylinder. CONDITION: The barrel, cylinder, trigger guard and rear grip strap retain approximately 96% of the factory original blue finish. The frame retains approximately 75% of the factory original case color with a few handling marks. Two piece hard rubber grips are minty with no chips or cracks. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. PROVENANCE: From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection. REW
