Manufactured by Mauser for commercial sales. The chamber date is 1939 and it has "MAUSER" banner on the front toggle link. Safety is marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position and the extractor is marked "GELADEN" on the left side. It has the correct Obendorf "(crown) U" Waffenampt on the left side of the receiver and the left side of the breech block. There is a Simpson "(eagle) 6" proof on the side plate. This is an all matching numbers gun. The magazine is marked "GERMANY 7.65". Checkered wood 2-piece grips. CONDITION: Gun retains approximately 95% of the factory-applied blue finish. The small straw parts have 90% of the original straw. Nice checkered wood grips that show normal wear. There are no chips or cracks in the grips. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves.
