Smith & Wesson "Registered" Magnum double action, 6-shot revolver with "REG" prefix in front of serial number in yoke (approximately 5,500 made) produced between 1935 and 1939. Blued pinned non-standard length round barrel with rib and "McGovern" pinned front blade sight. Blued frame with rear "U" notch sight. Case hardened trigger with serrated hammer. Walnut checkered diamond grips with "S&W" medallions. Comes with original Smith & Wesson Registered Magnum Certificate with original owner's name and gun specifications. CONDITION: 90% of a total reblue remaining with turn mark. Grips have sharp checkering and traces of original finish with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
