Standard configuration P.08. Major metal components have been reblued, with strawed components also exhibiting a reapplied finish. Receiver is spuriously marked "K" over the chamber with the toggle bearing Mauser's "S/42" code. Right side of receiver bears spurious Mauser K Date military proofs. Matching numbers are faux matched, with evidence of scrubbing, double stampings, and different numbering dies present. Complete with one magazine, which is force matched. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting light pitting under the finish in several areas and also bears a few areas of wear that show through to gray. Strawed components show few minor areas of wear and retain the vast majority of their reapplied finish. Bore is bright, as refinished, and exhibits moderate pitting beneath the finish and retains fair to good rifling throughout. Checkered walnut grips show smoothing to the diamonds, with the right grip panel bearing a crack on the interior that runs from the top to the bottom. MLW
