Dated 1939 over the chamber and a small Mauser Banner on the front toggle link. Extractor is marked "GELADEN" on the left side and the safety is marked "GESICHERT" in the upper position. All matching numbers gun to include the magazine. Stick Eagle 655 proofs on the right side of the receiver and one on the barrel. Eagle N proof mark on the left side of the breach block. CONDITION: Gun retains 98% of the non-original applied blue finish. The straw small parts are at 98% also. The 4 has been double stamped in the serial number on the barrel. On the left side of the receiver the 1 has been double stamped. the font on all four full serial numbers does not match the rest of the numbers on the gun. Numbered checkered grips are sharp and crisp. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. REW
