Simson Police P.08 Luger semi-automatic pistol with holster. Made late 1920's. Toggle is marked "SIMSON & CO./SHUL". Sear safety is still attached. No magazine safety. No import/export mark found. Matching serials on the visible numbered parts. Simson "(eagle) / 6" proofs on the left side of the chamber, barrel, and various other parts. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and V-notch rear. Factory blue and straw finishes. Checkered wood grips are matching numbered with the correct Simson proofs as well. Includes one matching aluminum bottom magazine (with Simson proofs) and a nonmatching aluminum bottom magazine, later production. Also includes a 1917 dated brown leather holster. Holster maker is illegible and has various stamps on the outside of the flap, "335", "L.M.G.", "9.KOMP" and "4385". CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Grips have light wear to the checkering. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazines have light wear. Holster has light wear and handling marks. Tight, solid stitching. JWA
