(A) Jon N. ? Cast Steel Sheffield. 5" single blade lock back folding dirk circa prior 1890, absence of the word England. Handled in buffalo horn, front scale has minor crack at handle pin, back scale is chipped by rear of knife. Blade is double edged dagger with top false edge. Lock holds, blade has slight sideways motion and weak snap in closing. Condition is very good. (B) Tang stamp has a circle with a V and a F in it. 4 - 3/8" single blade lock back folding dirk with fancy worked back. Handled in genuine tortoise. Front scale has damage at rear pin, small piece of handle is missing, back scale is the same. The lock holds and is solid. Blade is sold with good snap in open and closed direction. Has a fixed one piece finger guard. Condition is very good to excellent. TN
