(A) Unwin and Rodgers. 1 - 1/2" quill knife and mechanical pen and knife overall is 4 - 1/2". Combination Quil knife and mechanical pencil circa 1833 - 1910. Handled in mother of pearl, slight damage by forward pin. Knife blade still has great snap in open and closed direction. Condition is very good. (B) James Crawshaw of Sheffield, inventor of the quadrangular four- cornered quill knives. 3 - 1/4" eight blade four cornered quill knife circa 1820. Handled in ivory, perfect with no cracks or chips. Six of the blades have good snap in both open and closed direction, two are weak in both open and closed direction. All blades are full, none are broken. Condition is very good. (C) Rodgers Cutlers To Her Majesty Sheffield. Device body is 3 - 1/2" Quilling device, front portion with cut the quill into shape, knife blade is in rear and will sharpen the quill. Both the brass lever and the knife tang are stamped Rodgers Cutlers to Her Majesty, mid 19th Century or before. Handled in ebony, ebony is perfect. Mid 19th Century or before. Device is near mint. (D) Sterile Quilling device with slide out quill blade with cutting device on both ends. Quill blade is 1 - 1/4", overall length is 4". Handled in ebony, perfect with no cracks. Condition is excellent. TN
